Fire Emblem Section
Fire Emblem is a turn based tactical strategy role playing game that is similar in aspects to those of Advance Wars. There are so far 9 total games for the series, and one for the Wii is also expected to arrive in the future.
Defining aspects of Fire Emblem include:
Characters that die stay dead.
All of the games so far have been set in a medieval atmosphere.
It has a class level up system
Grid maps
Utilizes a sort of rock paper scissor-esque weapon advantages.
Recruitment of more characters

FIRE EMBLEM: BLAZING SWORD
Fire Emblem 7 was released November 3rd in 2003 and was the first American Fire Emblem to hit shores. This particular FE is a prequel to Fire Emblem 6: Sword of Seals and it explains the story of Eliwood’s journey’s who is Roy’s father. Many of you should be familiar with Roy from Super Smash Brother’s Melee. This is the second Fire Emblem game to hit the Gameboy Advance worldwide.
Statistics of Characters in this game:
Hit Points: Amount of health a unit has; once it hits 0, the units dies/retreats for the game.
Str: Strength; the amount of power your unit has. Str + Weapon mt(might) - Enemy's defense = Attack.
Skill: It determines your chance to hit, and also gives you some critical bonuses depending on how much you have.
Speed: Determines how fast a unit is.
Attack Speed = Your unit's speed - (Weapon weight - con). If your attack speed is at least 4 points higher then the opponents, you will double attack.
Avoid = Speed x 2 + Luck.
Defense: Determines the endurance. Opponent's attack - Your defense = Amount of HP lost.
Res: Resistance toward magical attacks. Works the same way as defense.
Luck: It adds to your avoid and the amount of luck you have is subtracted from the enemies critical boosts.
Con: Constitution, the build of your character. Character's with higher con can use heavier weapons wihtout losing attack speed. Con also factors into rescuing other units.
